Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial concepts, accounting principles, and general ledger reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Perform general ledger reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Assist with technical accounting tasks
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Conduct journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Experience with filing MD withholding a plus

- Experience with filing 941's a plus

- Proficiency in 10 key typing
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting
- Ability to work with various accounting software systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
