Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining various practice accounts
• Monthly Reconciling and maintaining entries to balance accounts
• Preparing financial reports and profit/loss statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting for information
• Assign categories and vendors for all transactions for all bank accounts and business charge card
• Ensuring timely payment of practice bills and various taxes
• Generating invoices for services rendered to business partners for shared expenses
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assisting in financial activities such as running payroll and tracking payroll data
• Preparing and filing of 1099 tax documents after year end prior to filing deadline
• Track Business Owner’s Liability Insurance and monitoring all parties are appropriately documented on each policy
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
• Working with CPA as needed to provide tax documents and information requested
• Build out the bookkeeping platform and transition system over from previous database
• Preparing and filing financial documents in SharePoint
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Partners or Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
• Proficient experience in QuickBooks experience required
• Strong attention to detail and communication is vital for this position
• Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred
• Previous experience working with ADP RUN system preferred
• Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint)
