We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial records accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Recordkeeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices and making timely payments.
Manage accounts receivable, invoicing clients, and following up on overdue payments.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of transactions.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Payroll Processing:
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
Provide financial information to management for decision-making.
Audit Support:
Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in the use of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
