Bookkeeper, Sr. jobs in Rock Hill, SC

Performance Responsibilities:

Ø  Performs usual office routines

Ø  Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts it into usable form

Ø  Prepares written materials for the purpose of documenting activities and conveying information

Ø  Maintains a regular filing system and processes incoming correspondence as instructed.

Ø  Places, receives, and directs telephone calls, faxed documents, and electronic (e-mail) messages appropriately

Ø  Performs major bookkeeping tasks associated with school funding.

Ø  Completes and files necessary reports and documents as required

Ø  Participates in meetings, workshops and seminars as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information

Ø  Orders and maintains supplies as needed

Ø  Anyother bookkeeping duties as assigned

Specific Job Requirements: 

1. Must possess and utilize excellent team building skills
2. Must accept delegated responsibilities willingly
3. Must be able to work under occasional stress
4. Must demonstrate a high level of initiative in job performance

Terms of Employment:  200 days per school year.  Salary to be established by the Board.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Service Personnel.
