Bookkeeper, Sr. jobs in Vineland, NJ

Our Client in Vineland, New Jersey is seeking a Legal Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a Direct Hire position offering $50,000-$65,000 a year based on experience. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
• Daily account management—including bank accounts
• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
• Ensure payments and deposits are accurate
• Answer questions related to payables and billing questions
• Verify all invoices and check requests are properly approved
• Prepare invoices, monthly retainer billing, cash flow reports, & bank deposits
• Maintain petty cash fund
• Run and distribute reminder and final statements
• Monitor any variances from the projected budget

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Legal Bookkeeping experience
• Must have Legal Office experience in a Personal Injury Law Firm
• Strong math, accounting, and data entry skills
• High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel
