Bookkeeper, Sr. jobs in Wichita Falls, TX

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks a must.

Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation, debits, credits, and account analysis
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience as an accounting clerk or related position
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements
