Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling multiple clients' financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Preferred candidates will possess supervisory experience, demonstrating potential for advancement based on performance and qualifications. Strong problem-solving skills are a must. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently, showing initiative and self-motivation to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for multiple clients
- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for each client
- Perform other accounting tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Experience working with non-profit organizations is a plus but not required
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
