Job Description:

As a Finance Manager/Bookkeeper specializing in Real Estate and Construction, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial activities of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance.
• Managing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to provide insights into business performance and profitability.
• Developing and implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and vendors to track project expenses, reconcile accounts, and manage cash flow effectively.
• Conducting financial analysis and risk assessment to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluations, and project financing initiatives.
• Collaborating with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits, tax filings, and regulatory filings.
• Providing guidance and support to junior finance staff, fostering professional development and growth within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping roles, preferably in the real estate development or construction industry.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and internal controls framework.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to financial management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,980.00 - $75,600.00 per year
