Bookkeeping Manager manages and oversees all the bookkeeping staff. Responsible for the practices and procedures to ensure timely and accurate records and reports. Being a Bookkeeping Manager provides assistance to other financial function: budgets, payroll, etc. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Bookkeeping Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Bookkeeping Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     YOUR LIFE AS AN OFFICE MANAGER - BOOKKEEPING CLERK

    This full-time finance administrative position works Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

    As an Office Manager - Bookkeeping Clerk, you play a crucial role in the financial management of our law firm. Every day, you are responsible for maintaining financial transaction records, keeping accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance. With exceptional accuracy, you examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements. Attentive to detail, you produce reports, reconcile bank statements, prepare bank deposits, handle payroll, manage 401(k) payments, and keep track of overdue accounts. You also maintain personnel files and ensure all employees follow information management guidelines.

    In addition to your financial duties, you skillfully tackle a variety of administrative tasks, including ordering office supplies, requesting maintenance or repairs of office equipment, and answering phones. You get great satisfaction from keeping our law firm's finances organized and accurate!


    WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR OFFICE MANAGER - BOOKKEEPING CLERK

    • 1 years of experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and IOLTA (trust)
    • Ability to openly communicate with our firm partners
    • Ability to maintain organized files and complete tasks in a timely manner
    • Ability to read and explain financial statements

    Account management and recordkeeping experience in a law firm setting would be a plus but is not required. If you can meet these requirements and perform this job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!
