BOOKSTORE ASSOCIATE

Location: 1410 W 1250 S, Orem, UT 84058

Status: Part - Time / Non - Exempt

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 1:00pm

Pay / Salary: $12.00 / Hour

BENEFITS:

Part-time employees averaging 15 hours / week over 3 months of employment could be eligible for our MTECH tuition waiver.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the Bookstore Associate include, but are not limited to:

• Track all shipments received and prepare interoffice mail to be delivered to MTECH campuses
• Receives orders from instructors on materials needed for instruction in classes to place in the store. Must be able to multi-task and fill orders in a timely manner with accuracy
• Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts for customers
• Must be willing to cover other shifts and/or other Bookstore locations as needed
• Tracks inventory and places necessary orders as needed
• Attend all required meetings and trainings

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Strong customer service skills
• Computer literate
• Proficient with ten-key
• Database/data entry, record, store, or maintain information in either written or electronic form
• Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and fluently in English
• Can follow written and/or oral instructions, applicable laws, regulations and other policies and procedures
• Detail-oriented, good organization skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
