Additionally, Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. prepares and manages the staff work schedule so that the store is adequately staffed. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Bookstore Director - Higher Ed. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Summary Regent University’s School of Education is seeking an Assistant Professor for the Higher Education program. This is a full-time instructional, 12-month tenure-track position at Regent University’s main campus in Virginia Beach, VA. The candidate will serve as the Program Director for the Student Affairs and Higher Education Leadership and Management programs at both the master’s and post-master’s levels.

Qualifications: an earned doctorate in Higher Education or a related field. Experience as a higher education executive (e.g. vice president, program director, or faculty) highly preferred. The candidate will also have applied and advanced knowledge of research and assessment methodology, curriculum development, and assessment design. Experience working with diverse student populations is required with the ability to teach and evaluate student performances. The candidate will have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills. The ideal candidate will also have a heart for the personal, spiritual, and professional development of students and faculty.
