Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant (contract) to join our team. The Sales Assistant will provide support to the operations team at trade shows and industry events, and assist in achieving sales targets with customer leads and lead generation. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is customer-focused, and has a strong interest in event sales.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a complete understanding of all services offered
• Oversee lead generation
• Facilitate quotes and proposals by responding to leads
• Maintain open communication with leads and clients
• Represent the company as a spokesperson at industry level events
• Maintain relationships with industry professionals & partners
• Research and Identify potential clients and lead generating partnerships (event planners, venues, etc)
• Outreach to potential partners to establish relationships
• Oversee the company's social media presence.
• Act as an Event Lead as needed to successfully execute events
• Assist the Operations Team as needed
• Participate in continued marketing training
• Act as a fluid member of a team, with the ability to take on miscellaneous tasks as they arise.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc)
• Familiarity with Zendesk or other CRM software is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience with event logistics a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
