    JOB DESCRIPTION:



    Pay Range: $21.54 - 25.34 Per Hour!

    The Casino Host assists Executive Hosts in the generation of incremental gaming revenue by cultivating relationships with premium level players and providing excellent customer service. The Casino Host collaborates with all Player Development team members to increase rated play and expand Executive Host blocks. The Casino Host maintains the Higher Limit desk.



    JOB REQUIREMENTS:



    Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Tasks:

    • Responsible for providing optimal guest service to all players with a main focus on developing lasting relationships with all Black, Diamond and Platinum level players via delivery of personalized customer service.
    • Offers expedited guest service from the Higher Limits desk. ; establishes self as key contact for the Casino’s valuable players.
    • Communicates with Executive Host team to ensure guidelines surrounding guest service, amenities, comps, and reinvestments are followed to ensure the consistent delivery of superior guest service.
    • Responds to situations regarding disgruntled guests and uses communication skills to diffuse possible confrontations; quickly evaluates situation, offers solutions and alternatives, and decides on a plan of action.
    • Helps to cover Ambassador Hosts in VIP services when required.
    • Maintains detailed knowledge of VIP guests, their gaming habits, and their specific needs and requirements.
    • Provides in-depth assistance to Executive Hosts in support of their gaming block.
    • Serves as backup for Executive hosts in their absence and on their behalf.
    • Works closely with VIP Services, Ambassador Hosts and Club Indulge.
    • Responsible for managing and increasing rated slot and table games play.
    • Responsible to assist in meeting revenue goals set forth by the Casino.
    • Communicates with premium/rated players through telemarketing and letter writing regarding available services, promotional opportunities and special events.
    • Works with Promotions, Direct Marketing, and other departments to ensure the success of premium slot, table and VIP promotions.
    • Assists in hosting VIP events, promotions and special activities.
    • Calculates guest rated play and worth through system generated analysis and reports.
    • Facilitates communication between guests and Team Members to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Answers questions about CLUB Indulge, rewards, promotions, casino directions, etc.
    • Issues CLUB Indulge Cards, explaining all of the rewards and benefits.
    • Assists guests with hotel, Spa, and Willows restaurant reservations; coordinates with Executive Hosts for placement of any additional amenities.
    • Issues redemptions to guests as needed.
    • Meets with departmental directors and managers as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
    • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or Marketing preferred.
    • Previous host experience or three years’ strong guest service experience in hospitality or gaming industry.
    • Advanced oral and written communication skills required.
    • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications, email and Internet.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and respect.
    • Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.
    • Ability to work with many different clientele bases.
    • Ability to control and manage conflict.
    • Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays when necessary.
    • Able to effectively establish priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Multi-task oriented.
    • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
    • Must have valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
    • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
    • Native American hiring preference applies.
