    Officially greets and caters to the needs of outlet customers, graciously hosting, accepting payment and assisting outlet staff as needed to ensure guest satisfaction. The Food Server will take food & beverage orders and serve the guests of the restaurant outlets with friendly, excellent service to every customer who dines with us.     Comply with all property and department policies, practices and procedures. Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution. Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Responsible for filling all food orders in an efficient, healthful and attractive manner.

    • Will train in and perform both cashier and cook functions, including food orders, delivery, operating the POS register, prep food orders and deliver.

    • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient and friendly service and escort them to tables and provide information regarding buffet or menu.

    • Efficiently takes food order, enter into POS system and handles payment methods appropriately.

    • Greet guests in a friendly manner –smiling and with an upbeat attitude.

    • Checks out bank and operates cash register.

    • Verify check-in and cash register reconciliation and prepare shift end check-out and cash register reconciliation.

    • Promptly accepts customer bill and payments, processing cash, credit card, coupons or comps.

    • When food order is ready, promptly deliver order to guest.

    • Takes an active role in promoting guest service and advises F&B Managers of guest service issues.

    • Assist with seating arrangements, including moving tables and chairs.

    • Adheres to cash handling procedures established for Buffet Cashier/Host/Hostess staff

    • Helps maintain a smooth flow in dining room between guests and servers.

    • Assist as needed with table bussing, settings and side work.

    • Dispense beverage orders, including soft drinks, and hot drinks

    • Assist with food preparation, including pizza making, cutting and slicing condiments, replenishing supplies as needed.

    • Prepare cooked foods to order, including pizzas, sandwiches, and salads.

    • Ensure that food items are handled in a healthful and safe manner at all times, adhering to food handling standards and practices at all times.

    • At the beginning and end of each shift, check supply needs and replenish accordingly.

    • Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests.

    • Promptly reports all concerns to Supervisor.

    • Ensure that operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.

    • Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.

    • Follow proper service procedures as outlined in the training manual pertaining to the foodservice outlet working in.

    • Ensure that operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.

    • Communicate with your supervisor to resolve any guest questions in a timely manner.

    • Assist other servers with all of the above to ensure total Teamwork.

    • Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level. Side work lists to be followed.

    • Correctly perform all necessary paper and bookwork at shifts end.

    • Relay any complaints, problems or positive remarks to shift supervisor.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, AND REGISTRATIONS

    • Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma, GED, Degree and Certificates) to support qualifications.

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to the licensing rules and regulations.

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain in good standing a Driver’s License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage on company vehicles.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma or GED required with six (6) months cash handling experience and customer service experience in hospitality or similar area. Ability to receive Food Handlers and TIPS certification 6 months from being hired (G4 / S 1-3 DOE)

Must be able to communicate effectively in person, while on the phone, while using intercom/microphone, and in writing.
