Branch Manager Assistant assists the branch manager in the daily operations of a retail banking branch office. Performs routine branch opening, closing, customer service, and other operational tasks and activities. Being an Branch Manager Assistant assumes responsibility for the supervision of the branch office during the manager's absence. Assists in training and managing branch staff. Additionally, Branch Manager Assistant ensures that branch operations follow all company policies and procedures. Maintains the required security, operational, and service quality standards. Usually has completed a bank management training program. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a branch manager. The Branch Manager Assistant supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Branch Manager Assistant typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Yardmaster has an incredible opportunity for an ambitious Branch Manager to join our organization. The Branch Manager has total profit-making responsibility for all maintenance & snow related operations and directs the planning, budgeting, production, equipment and personnel, customer relations, credit and collection activities, and vendor relations

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial landscaping business development, operations, or branch management. The Branch manager oversees all aspects of their branch including sales development and client retention. This position requires the ability to develop and inspire a successful team opportunities and achieving work order sales that meet branch goals. Identify areas of opportunity to increase account growth and drive revenue.

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Develop long-term relationships and communicate on a regular basis with key clients
    • Inspect key client properties to monitor performance and overall job quality
    • Ensure existing accounts are renewed each year
    • Coordinate and manage client service teams
    • Develop annual budgets
    • Be fully responsible for the P&L of the branch
    • Work with Controller/CFO to accurately track branch performance
    • Ensure billing is completed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Ensure all contracts are executed correctly
    • Ensure proper use and care of all branch assets
    • Identify staffing needs
    • Monitor branch safety record and implement methods to improve safe workplace practices
    • Monitor and guide Account Managers and Operations Managers
    • Implement and enforce policies and procedures as issued by us.
    • Drive and develop new contract and enhancement sales processes
    • Ensure new sales goals for the branch are properly budgeted
    • Work with the Business Developer to ensure those goals are met or exceeded
    • Identify prospects to meet sales goals and communicate to Business Developer
    • Understand and accurately estimate jobs
    • Ensure proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes.
    • Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plan(s) for employees
    • Achieves grounds management operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
    • Prepares and completes action plans; implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves problems; completes audits; identifies trends and determines system improvements
    • Work at a fast pace environment while operating with a high sense of urgency
    • Must uphold company policies, procedures and company core values at all times
    • Strengthen and build relationships with clients and the community
