Primary Purpose of Job

Manages the Tellers within the assigned branch.  Partners with the Branch Manager to achieve branch goals.

Major Job Accountabilities

• Supervises branch Tellers in a manner that instills teamwork, consistency of service, and a collaborative atmosphere resulting in an outstanding customer experience.  
• Accountable for performance management and ensures that teammates are adhering to ASB operational policies and procedures.  
• Partners with the Teller-Lead to train and develop new tellers.
• Partners with the Branch Manager to achieve Branch performance goals associated with, but not limited to, Customer Service, Sales, Expense & Loss, etc.  Assumes responsibility for Branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Works to build and deepen customer relationships.  Identifies product needs and refers customers to other business partners as appropriate.  Evaluates the Branch’s internal controls; reviews and updates policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with laws & regulations as well as internal control procedures.
• Provides personalized, in-person education in digital banking solutions.
• Travels between branches for short and long term assignments to provide performance coverage and support based on the business need (Traveling Branch Team only).

Experience Required

• Two (2) years of sales and/or service experience in a retail or financial services firm.
• Leadership experience

Required Skills or Training

• Working knowledge of bank products, branch operations and banking regulations.
• Excellent customer service/sales skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and leadership skills.
