SUMMARY:
Reports to the Retail Manager and assists in the operation of the branch office. Provides specific lending, operational and member service functions as delegated by the Retail Manager, including direct supervision of the branch staff, as may be determined from time to time. Assumes full responsibility for the operation of the branch during any absence of the Retail Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Retail Manager is the supervision of employees in the dialog environment. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting with training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Must have in-depth knowledge of all credit union services, operational policies and procedures, and is able to communicate this knowledge effectively to staff and members. Displays leadership ability plus a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as credit bureau reports, policy and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with borrowers and other employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to operate general office machines and equipment such as personal computer, photocopier and fax machine.
