We're looking for a Branch Manager who can:

• Cultivate strong relationships, gain buy-in, and serve as a reliable & trusted leader
• Direct & supervise the staff and day-to-day operations of assigned branches
• Oversee branch profitability through consistent quality service, achieving sales and productivity goals
• Provide on-site support to the operations manager with a general understanding of department functions and supporting personnel
• Communicate with managers & directors regarding staffing needs and work with HR during recruitment and onboarding of new hires
• Actively participate in hiring, compensation, performance reviews, and employee development
• Understand Route, Capital, & Service product offerings and contribute to discussions regarding profit margin goals with operations & pricing managers
• Build relationships with key accounts, monitor their sales, and understand their buying trends
• Address customer concerns, return phone calls, and provide follow-up
• Identify unique sales opportunities and support the Sales Manager

We seek an experienced Branch Manager with a proven track record of providing strong leadership, organizing daily operations in an assigned branch location, supervising staff, and ensuring the team meets productivity & sales goals. We want to hear from you if you have strong leadership & strategic planning experience and a general understanding of the Ag industry.

Our Ideal Branch Manager:

• Experienced: 5 years of operations, management, and strategic planning experience is needed; a general understanding of the Ag industry so you can communicate effectively with our customer base is preferred.
• Active Listener: Someone who listens to get a clear picture of each person's needs, whether a customer or co-worker.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Able to build good client relationships & trust by listening and providing exceptional service. A commitment to regular communication & follow-up. Consistent: Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm & composed manner.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Travel: Will visit a 2nd New York location (Batavia) one day each week; occasionally travel to farms & job sites.
