Branch Manager Assistant assists the branch manager in the daily operations of a retail banking branch office. Performs routine branch opening, closing, customer service, and other operational tasks and activities. Being an Branch Manager Assistant assumes responsibility for the supervision of the branch office during the manager's absence. Assists in training and managing branch staff. Additionally, Branch Manager Assistant ensures that branch operations follow all company policies and procedures. Maintains the required security, operational, and service quality standards. Usually has completed a bank management training program. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a branch manager. The Branch Manager Assistant supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Branch Manager Assistant typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff members

    • Direct supervisor of Client Relations Managers and oversee all customer accounts

    • Oversees the daily workflow of the department

    • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations

    • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy

    • Responsible for demonstrating and living out the company fundamentals and culture

    • Models and enforces all company policies and procedures

    • Monitors, mentors, and leads branch team in order to balance company goals with employee satisfaction

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Responsible for demonstrating and living out the company fundamentals and culture

    • Monitors, mentors, and leads branch team to balance company goals with employee satisfaction

    • Oversee and monitor daily production of landscape maintenance and enhancements, turf, ornamental applications, irrigation, and snow removal

    • Develop delivery schedule deadlines and oversee the development of production planning and schedule creation

    • Establish staffing levels for each month based upon need

    • Ensure that jobs are completed according to contract and within budget

    • Manage key relationships with clients in support of Client Managers and Production Managers

    • Work with Business Development to identify and achieve new contract maintenance sales goals

    • Works with Client Managers and Sales Team to ensure that Enhancement Pipelines and Sales Goals are being achieved

    • Work with CRM team to achieve renewal and retention goals

    • Work with Production Managers to monitor safety, quality, and productivity on an ongoing basis

    • Budget control of hours and productivity of production personnel

    • Budget control of departmental expenses

    • Oversee safety, training, and DOT compliance

    • Manage relationships with vendors

    • Work with the Executive Team to establish and maintain the branch’s annual budget

    • Responsible for performance through Contribution Margin line

    • Monitor monthly financial performance

    • Deliver timely and accurate financial reports and production data to the Executive Team

    • Administer preventive maintenance program and manage equipment repair and replacement

    • Work with Executive Team to evaluate equipment purchasing and set-up

    • Communicate with Human Resources to address corrective and disciplinary actions, personnel staffing needs and training needs

    • Conduct performance appraisals and compensation reviews coordinated with Human Resources

    • Work with Office Administrator and Team to insure that Aspire is being updated and managed properly

    • Employee also agrees to perform any other duties assigned

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in, or related field required

    • A minimum of three years of management experience preferred

    Physical Requirements

    • Frequently required to drive for short to long distances within assigned territory

    • Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk

    • Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and can adjust focus

    • Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls

    • Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance

    • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

    • Occasionally works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions

    • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
