Performs routine branch opening, closing, customer service, and other operational tasks and activities. Being an Branch Manager Assistant assumes responsibility for the supervision of the branch office during the manager's absence. Assists in training and managing branch staff. Additionally, Branch Manager Assistant ensures that branch operations follow all company policies and procedures. Maintains the required security, operational, and service quality standards. Usually has completed a bank management training program. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a branch manager. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Direct all warehouse activities within the Branch; purchasing and distribution as dictated by company policy while meeting market demands and deploying tactics to overcome competitors’ initiatives. Assist the Branch Manager in establishing and maintaining the distribution of all products maximizing profits of the Branch territory. Ensure that all employees adhere to company practices and policies and function within the rules and regulations of government agencies and regulatory bodies.
