Signode is searching for a strong Senior Human Resources Manager to support our manufacturing sites across the United States. This role provides HR leadership and strategic and tactical duties for the manufacturing sites. While the position reports directly to the Senior HR Director the role has strong dotted-line partner accountability to operational leaders within the organization.
The successful candidate will cover all phases of the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and policy administration. Includes items such as benefit and leave administration, and support of HR projects, such as compensation and employee development. The Senior HR Manager has three direct reports across the United States. This is a key role within the plants with employee engagement and interaction as a top priority. The Senior HR Manager must develop and maintain a strong partnership with plant managers, supervisors, and the safety team. This position is onsite with 40% travel to our other manufacturing sites.
• We offer a competitive salary with a range of $92,000 - $122,000 based on experience and skill set.
• This position is eligible to participate in the Signode annual bonus program with a target of 15% of base salary

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Manufacturing/production/industrial HR experience
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Solid track record of positive employee relations
- Demonstrated ability to support operations leadership as a trusted partner, both strategically and tactically
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws and the ability to negotiate and resolve issues with union representatives will be highly valued
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations including the state of California and Washington.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.
- Ability to travel up to 40% to other plants in the specific region.

- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with plant leaders and their teams
- Quickly and effectively build and gain trust with employees and plant leaders by acting and working with integrity
- Work with department managers to identify training and development needs and facilitate employee growth.
- Proactively work to recruit candidates and retain current employees.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations affecting the workforce.
- Coach and provide guidance to the Human Resource Generalists/Managers.
- Lead all investigations relative to conduct and ethics and advise management of outcomes as appropriate.
- Facilitate effective performance management and compensation processes
- Maintain employee files, support payroll and benefits processes, and all other employment related records as is appropriate
- Provide support during major projects as needed to ensure success
- Other HR related administrative tasks as required
