Being a Branch Review Specialist determines whether branches are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or business control activities in compliance with management instructions, policies, and procedures. Evaluates functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of systems to achieve established objectives. Additionally, Branch Review Specialist recommends corrective actions and improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are currently looking to fill a Quality Assurance Specialist position. This position performs activities in support of dispositioning product and/or raw materials while ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) policies and procedures, cGMPs, SOPs, and Regeneron Standard Requirement Documents.
In this role, a typical day might include the following:
Perform review and approval of revisions/creation of controlled documents (SOPs, MRs, BSs, Specifications)
Provides consultation or advice in alignment with QA policies; participates in cross functional team meetings
Train and/or mentor junior employees, including providing insights and education on processes and procedures;
Perform activities associated with disposition of raw materials and product (e.g. receipt, inspection, document review, shipping, etc.). Activities may be on the floor or at a desk
Review and approval of investigations associated with raw materials, product, laboratory, facilities, and materials.
Perform status labeling of raw materials and product
Continually evaluating Regeneron processes and procedures with an eye toward continuous improvement
Represent Quality Assurance in support of complex Deviations, Change Controls, CAPAs, etc., including active participation in investigation, evaluation, and problem resolution
This role may be for you if you have:
Understanding of biologics manufacturing operations is preferred
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Requires good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact cross functionally.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities.
Ability to learn and utilize computerized systems for daily performance of tasks
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Ability to stand for periods of time when performing tasks on the floor (Raw Materials).
Ability to work a varied schedule including off shift and weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (Raw Materials).
To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or related field and following minimum amounts of relevant experience for each level:
Associate QA Specialist – 2 years
QA Specialist – 4 years
Senior QA Specialist – 6 years
May substitute proven experience for education requirement. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
