Branch Review Specialist conducts branch internal audits to determine whether business controls are sufficient and effectively executed in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Tests established procedures to ensure operational efficiency within branch offices. Being a Branch Review Specialist determines whether branches are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or business control activities in compliance with management instructions, policies, and procedures. Evaluates functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of systems to achieve established objectives. Additionally, Branch Review Specialist recommends corrective actions and improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Branch Review Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Position Summary

    The Department of Student Affairs is searching for a highly motivated person to join our recruitment team. This position will participate in recruiting programs and events, with outreach to external audiences. Daily activities will include interaction with prospective students, public presentations, oral and written communication, problem solving, and use and maintenance of student data bases.

    The ideal candidate will be student focused and have an energetic personality and able to prepare and deliver small and large group presentations. Some evening and weekend work at recruitment events as well as extensive travel will be required to fulfill job duties.

    Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical vocational programs, Adult Basic Education, and Dual Credit High School/College courses to Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a student body of approximately 1,900 students per semester. UNM has earned the platinum-level distinction from FamilyFriendlyNM.org for its workplace policies.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

    Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.


    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience working as a student recruiter at an accredited college or university
    • Prior experience working with high school students
    • Experience in marketing
    • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English and Spanish
    • Three (3) or more years' experience in delivering presentations to large and small groups

    Additional Requirements
    Ability to travel statewide and/or out of state.
