Job Position Purpose/Summary: The Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (BMAS) provides exceptional member service by performing transactions and adherence to exceptional service expectations from Trusted Advisor training. Assist, review, and correct member statements, overdrawn accounts, and related member accounting problems. Using appropriate equipment and software, obtain member's status, input information, and obtain withdrawal checks. Assist members in setting up new accounts, balancing of checkbooks, IRA’s, shares, and CD’s. Process death claims and provide general credit union information; cross-sell products and services. Interview members for consumer loans (not to include any residential mortgage lending), review loan applications, refer applications to Loan Officer pursuant to credit union policies. Maintain equipment and files necessary to keep accurate records.
Education & Experience: We pride ourselves in our advocacy for education, growth, and opportunity for experience. This position would minimally require a high school education or GED, with preference for a certificate or degree in financial areas or customer service, along with one to two years’ successful experience in customer service, retail, banking, or financial services industry.
