Branch Review Specialist conducts branch internal audits to determine whether business controls are sufficient and effectively executed in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Tests established procedures to ensure operational efficiency within branch offices. Being a Branch Review Specialist determines whether branches are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or business control activities in compliance with management instructions, policies, and procedures. Evaluates functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of systems to achieve established objectives. Additionally, Branch Review Specialist recommends corrective actions and improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Branch Review Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. - Plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee training on various skills, policy, and compliance areas.
- Develops training and development programs and objectives.
- Teach appropriate ways to handle technical construction problems and how to trouble shoot them.
- Teach construction skills including demolition and carpentry along with appropriate use of equipment and tools through demonstrations, modeling skills, directing, and monitoring performance and skill level.
- Evaluates and modifies existing or proposed programs; suggests and implements suitable changes.
- Ensures worksite safety, learning of safety procedures, and proper construction techniques.
- Collaborates with outside consultants and training providers to deliver training.
- Facilitates delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks.
- Develops and maintains organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and HR staff.
- Performs other related duties, as required.
