Branch Review Specialist conducts branch internal audits to determine whether business controls are sufficient and effectively executed in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Tests established procedures to ensure operational efficiency within branch offices. Being a Branch Review Specialist determines whether branches are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or business control activities in compliance with management instructions, policies, and procedures. Evaluates functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of systems to achieve established objectives. Additionally, Branch Review Specialist recommends corrective actions and improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Branch Review Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Key to the success of the department’s business practices is the effective delivery of transportation programs and projects. The Final Project Coordination (FPC) review is the last milestone review of the plan and proposal package prior to project submittal for advertising. This position is the statewide specialist responsible for all in-house and consultant trunkline road projects and providing the MDOT Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Omissions and Errors Checks sign off prior to submittal of advertising for advertising and letting. This is the final MDOT QA/QC review, for all MDOT projects, before advertising and awarding the construction contract. The purpose of the FPC meeting is to review the entire plan/proposal package for omissions/errors/conflicts/contradictions, etc. This position is also a backup for conducting inspections for road projects at the Base Plan and Plan Review milestones.
The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Transportation Engineer Licensed Specialist 13 position.

Possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.Experience
Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Transportation Engineer, including two years equivalent to a Transportation Engineer P11 or one year equivalent to a Transportation Engineer 12 or Transportation Engineer Licensed 12.Possession of a registered professional engineering license as required by the State of Michigan.
Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
