Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique regulatory relations challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or companywide, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others, ensuring appropriate accountability and interaction with regulators. Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale cross-functional or include companywide strategic approaches. Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an expert advisor to leadership, ensuring integrated approach for matters which cross functions or regulatory agencies. Lead projects, virtual teams, and serve as a peer mentor to ensure appropriate preparation, accountability, and consistent delivery on regulatory commitments, execution of regulatory relations policy and procedures, or other initiatives. Represent regulatory relations, in concert with business partners, before regulatory agencies on policy matters, responses, commitments, needs, and approach in adherence to policy and procedure. Research and assess internal and external regulatory environment to identify and report on themes, emerging trends, and risks, sharing insights with team and leadership to resolve concerns. Work with partners to aggregate and report on regulatory actions for key stakeholders including executive leadership, the board of directors, and regulators to ensure consistency with strategy and approach. Required Qualifications: 7 years of Regulatory Relations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Experience in Regulatory Relations or Risk Management, including Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, COO function, Business Process Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education. Ability to execute with precision in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities. Creative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Exceptional organisational, analytical, and planning skills. Ability to partner effectively with others and navigate a complex, matrixed environment. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management. Must demonstrate a high level of personal motivation and strong interpersonal skills. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal).
