Gaston Tree Service is seeking an ambitious and motivated Tree Care Salesperson/Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for connecting with potential clients and addressing their tree care needs. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent sales skills, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

- Identify potentially hazardous trees and other tree-related problems

- Conduct market research and analyze customer needs and preferences

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets

- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns

- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions

Skills:

- Certified Arborist preferred

- Proven experience in the tree care business

- Proven experience in outside sales

- Recognizes disease and insect problems of trees

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals in a timely manner

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet customers needs

- Exceptional customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.30 - $31.33 per hour
