Breast Center Manager manages the day-to-day operations of one or more mammography clinics. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the clinic(s). Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Breast Center Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     Job Summary and Qualifications

    The Breast Imaging Navigator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team and serves as an advocate and educator for high risk and breast imaging patients requiring follow up or additional procedures, from screening through to diagnosis. The Breast Imaging Navigators’s primary function is to ensure the patient has access to imaging and high risk support resources and remains compliant with the personalized treatment plan. Navigators achieve this goal by building relationships with patients and physicians, coordinating the plan of care, assisting with various appointments (including imaging exams, genetic counseling and/or high risk consults), providing education and resources, and/or representing the patient within the multidisciplinary care environment. The Navigator also assumes responsibility and accountability for the management of resources to achieve efficient, high-quality support for high risk patients, including support with interdisciplinary and crossfacility coverage and collaboration.


    What qualifications you will need:
    • Required Education: Associate's Degree
    • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
    • Required License: Certification of Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or registered nurse.
    • Preferred License: Breast Imaging Navigator Certification from the National Consortium of Breast Centers – obtain within 2 years in position
    • Required Experience: 1-3 years overall healthcare experience in mammography.
    • Preferred Experience: 1-5 years imaging experience
    • - Experience in high risk women’s program, Experience as a Coordinator and/or patient educator, Experience in mammography and breast imaging modalities, Experience in customer service
