Breast Center Manager manages the day-to-day operations of one or more mammography clinics. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the clinic(s). Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Breast Center Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led medical group seeking an experienced board certified Breast Surgeon to join our established team of Fellowship trained Breast Surgeons based at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. This position will also include leadership responsibilities within the department.
Qualifications
This well-established program currently has three highly skilled, board certified, fellowship trained Breast Surgeons and two dedicated Advanced Practice Practitioners. Our comprehensive breast care centers provide coordination of the broad spectrum of breast health services available, with the expertise afforded by advanced training and specialization in diseases of the breast. We are committed to offering the most advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques in the Tampa Bay area.
The Comprehensive Breast Care Center of Tampa Bay is a long standing NAPBC accredited program operating as a member of the BayCare Medical Group within the BayCare Health System. BayCare is a not-for profit health system within the Tampa Bay Area of Florida which ranks in the 86th percentile nationally on the IBM Watson Health rating with three hospitals in the top 100.
Position requires: Fellowship in Breast or Surgical Oncology and Board Certification in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology. Previous leadership experienced is preferred.
