As an Ultrasonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality ultrasound scans and diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Responsibilities
- Perform QT ultrasound scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of the images produced
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate scan for each patient
- Provide clear and concise explanations of the procedure to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Answer phone calls to schedule or answer questions related to QT Ultrasound
- Call patients to follow up and provide results
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- 5 or more years of experience in related work
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including ultrasound scanning
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret scan results
- Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT and PET scans
- Understanding of aseptic technique to ensure infection control during procedures
- Expertise in sonography principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document procedures
