Breast Center Manager manages the day-to-day operations of one or more mammography clinics. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the clinic(s). Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Breast Center Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     Position Summary

    Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a fellowship trained Breast radiologist to join the practice in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology and breast radiology to include screeners, diagnostic mammography, breast MRI and breast procedures. This position will share its time supporting Woodlands Medical Specialist and Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Sacred Heart is a 560 -bed hospital and is also the flagship hospital for Ascension in the Panhandle of Florida. It is a level-III trauma center and carries the designation of a comprehensive stroke center.

    • Option 1: The practice is considering candidates who are looking for a full-time 4-day work week in a 100% Breast Radiology role as a benefit eligible Associate, working Monday-Thursday only. There would be no requirement for weekend, holiday, night or call coverage.

    • Option 2: Alternatively, we are also considering candidates in a benefit eligible Associate role, who are open to working Monday- Friday, with scheduled days on-site and scheduled days reading remotely from the comfort of their home. Candidates can anticipate reading around 80% Breast and 20% General Radiology. There would be no requirement for weekend, holiday, night or call coverage.

    • Option 3: Lastly, we are also considering candidates who are seeking a benefit-eligible partnership track position working Monday- Friday with scheduled days on-site and scheduled days reading remotely from the comfort of their home. Candidates can anticipate reading around 80% Breast and 20% General Radiology with an expectation of sharing in Q7 weekend remote call.

In Pensacola, our radiologists have the opportunity to join the faculty of Florida State University where we provide diagnostic and interventional radiology instruction to the medical students. Pediatric residents from University of Florida who are doing residencies in Pensacola take pediatric radiology electives with our radiologists. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. Our radiologists who are not living in Tampa may apply to be adjunct faculty in this department.  In Sarasota, our physicians’ staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

    DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
    • Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging
    • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
    • Licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the state of FL
    • MQSA Preferred required
