What you'll be doing:
The Logistics & Build Center Manager is a member of our IntelliSite operating unit and on the Professional Delivery and Services team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the build and install teams.
· Overseeing an internal build team to coordinate logistics / warehousing including the design processes
· Maintain a spotless inventory management system in order to drive 95% inventory accuracy including a cycle count program and semi-annual inventory reconciliation program
· Complete ownership and understanding of the entire fulfillment / build process (everything coming in, everything going out, and everything in between) in order to achieve operational objectives
· Identify and resolve issues, involve additional resources, and provide direction for production activities
· Collaborating with other teams to forecast and communicate delivery schedules to internal business teams and external partners
· Putting in place key metrics and measurement tools to understand production performance
· Meeting mission-critical project deadlines in fast-paced environment with many responsibilities
· Develops strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and collaborate across multiple time zones
· Contribute to department improvement by communicating observed gaps in team knowledge
· Work to provide the needed guidance to team members in ensuring customer commitments are kept
· Work with customer complaints and concerns to help prevent issues moving forward
· Lead weekly product meeting to provide updates on project statuses to both direct team members and Leadership team.
· Develop shift schedules and ensure that appropriate levels of staffing are aligned with technical requirements of the various service contracts and SLAs
· Improve production efficiency by implementing lean manufacturing and product improvements
What you'll need:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
· 5 years’ experience in an operation or production role
· Proficient in using a computer, specifically Windows software and Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
· Organized, high energy level and strong work ethic
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Prior experience overseeing a build and/or logistics team
· Ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors and management
Nice to have:
· At least 2 years of experience working in the Network and Security field
· Background in wireless, software, and/or technology related equipment
· Experience with Linux Operating System
· Bi-lingual, especially fluent in Spanish, is a plus
· Experience utilizing ConnectWise
