Breast Center Manager manages the day-to-day operations of one or more mammography clinics. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the clinic(s). Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Breast Center Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. To compile and file patient information, give information to callers, schedule appointments, and provide routine clerical support. Assist in other areas of the Radiation Therapy Department as deemed necessary. Interact with physicians' offices and other Hillcrest departments. Work with the Radiation Therapists billing office. Will participate in performance initiatives. Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the dept.
