HR Works Strategic Services Team is looking for Sr Human Resources Associate to join their team. This position is Full-time, exempt and offers a hybrid work week schedule.

Preferred Location: Rochester, NY

Annual Compensation: Minimum Range $60,000.00-Maximum Range $70,000.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr Human Resources Associate is responsible for providing general HR support to HRSS stand-alone and bundle clients. Responsibilities include day-to-day HR generalist functions for designated clients, managing various HR-related projects including but not limited to recruiting, new hire onboarding, employee off-boarding, development of job descriptions, compensation benchmarks, FLSA assessments, personnel file management, and I-9 Audits. The Sr Human Resources Associate also assists HR Strategic Partners with completion of HR Assessments, and other project work, as needed.

Additionally, this position supports the HR Works Learning Management System (LMS) service through onboarding/training clients, and providing LMS administrative support, as needed.

• Demonstrated ability to use other systems and programs (i.e., SharePoint, Salesforce, various HRIS platforms, compensation benchmarking database, compliance research tools).
• Ability to travel locally, as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resource Management or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of HR/employment law experience or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job is required.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment law compliance and HR best practices required.
• Ability to travel to client’s locations, as needed.
