Broadcast Technician jobs in Dallas, TX

We are seeking a Broadcast / Media Equipment Technician to assist with the handling our broadcast audio / visual equipment and gear. This quality control technician is responsible for maintenance of broadcast hardware in our media industry. Hardware consists of video, audio, and fiber equipment. This could be a good role for a person with a year or two of experience in a similar capacity in a warehouse. Broadcast, Media, Audio / Visual, and Fiber experience is a plus.

This is a Full-Time hourly position, Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 6:00PM, on-site at our Grapevine, TX location. On occasion, some overtime may be required as needed.

Key duties include:

• Quality Control of hardware in house
• Build / assembly of racked systems, packages
• Configure of gear and systems
• Assist clients with tech support in person or over the phone when required

Requirements:

• 1 - 2 year's of experience working in a similar environment preferred.
• Experience working in a large warehouse / field shop.
• Strong organizational skills / computer skills.
• Understanding of Broadcast equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to solve unusual or unexpected problems
• Excellent customer service both internally and externally
• Broadcast / Audio Visual Experience preferred
