Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our customers. This position is ideal for someone with experience in the hospitality or food service industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with any questions or concerns they may have
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements
- Take reservations and manage the reservation system
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations effectively
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
