    Position Purpose: Responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and food/cooking utensils in a clean and orderly condition.

    Summary

    Responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and food/cooking utensils in a clean and orderly condition.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
    • Hold inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces.
    • Wash pots, pans, and trays.
    • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and cutting boards and kitchen equipment
    • Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
    • Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
    • Sort bottles, and break disposable ones in bottle crushing machine, if applicable.
    • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
    • Assist in set up and cleanup of banquet tables when necessary.
    • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

    Education and/or Experience
    Education Level – High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
    Experience – None required.   
    Special Skills/Certification – Ability to maintain excellent safety and sanitation procedures.

    Language Skills
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Class B Gaming License (As provided for a nominal fee with a clean background check)
