POSITION PURPOSE:

Supervises the preparation and sale of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on the Casino floor during an assigned shift. Assists the Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Beverage Department. Ensures quality service and maintains a high standard for service in housekeeping and sanitation.  May be required to perform the work of those supervised.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Schedules and delegates work to appropriately staff the department during an assigned shift.
• Ensures compliance with OLCC regulations.
• Provides guidance and direction to the beverage staff.  Makes recommendations to management regarding hiring, development and discipline of employees.
• Ensures proper cash handling.
• Ensures that the guests receive prompt and cordial service at all times.
• Resolves customers concerns and complaints and considers guest suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service.
• Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• 1 - 3 years experience in beverage service or restaurant/casino environment required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Current Food Handler/ServSafe Certificate and OLCC License required.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available).
