Under the general direction of the Chief Building Inspector, conducts inspections and evaluates construction to ensure compliance with the International Code Council (ICC) codes, including but not limited to, building, residential, mechanical, energy conservation, existing building, fuel, gas and plumbing codes, other adopted codes, City ordinances and approved plans and specifications.
