May be assigned to residential or commercial structures. Being a BUILDING INSPECTOR may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The BUILDING INSPECTOR works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a BUILDING INSPECTOR typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
