    IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a BUILDING PERFOMANCE CONSULTANT. As a BUILDING PERFORMANCE CONSULTANT you will be responsible for assisting with mechanical engineering, energy efficiency, building systems and building technologies.

    Some key duties and responsibilities include :

    • Work closely with the engineering and analytics teams to develop innovative and effective way to optimize performance of existing and new facilities;
    • Assist with identification and analysis of energy efficiency measures;
    • Review building drawings, building automation systems and other facility data;
    • Perform energy audits on existing buildings (ex. Commercial, multifamily, institutional, and healthcare);
    • Conduct analysis and calculations;
    • Assist with report preparation;
    • Assist with identifying utility incentives

    Key skills and abilities needed for the position are :

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
    • Strong organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to handle multiple demands and assignments, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiency, and the ability to manage resource procurement and utilization;
    • Strong interest in the application of advanced technology;
    • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs
    • Ability to visit project locations across the New York City Metro Area and Long Island, NY

    Education and experience requirements are :

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, Energy Engineering or related field
    • Experience with New York City and State Energy-Related Local Laws and Codes
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
    • Engineer in Training (EIT), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or related Certifications preferred.

    This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

    Salary Range $95,000 - $110,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.

    Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options. In addition, IMEG Corp. provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
