Building Superintendent wanted for a 60 unit, elevated building in a nice area of Passaic. Duties include:
- Handling resident complaints and performing repairs as needed.
- Painting and preparing vacant apartments for new rentals.
- Keeping building meticulously clean. Take out the trash. Shovel snow when necessary.
- Assist in renting vacant apartments.
- Deal with local and state officials as needed.
- Be available 24/7 for building emergencies.
- Call to and oversee contractors that work on the property.
The ideal candidate will be an individual or a team that will reside on the property in a One-Bedroom apartment rent free and will receive a weekly salary commensurate with experience. Must have experience and have all the necessary tools to perform the job. Knowledge of heating systems and plumbing extremely helpful.
