The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position.(These are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed, the omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.)Maintains and repairs all City facilities as needed Assists with coordination of maintenance activities with other departments and outside agenciesAssists General Services Director with determining maintenance prioritiesWorks with vendors on different types of jobsInteracts with public and provides customer service both in person and by phoneMaintains daily work recordsPerforms routine cleaning and custodial dutiesWashes and cleans General Services City vehicles weekly or as neededAssists with room setup in City owned facilities when neededPicks up and empties trash throughout City facilities where neededAssists with maintaining warehouse and inventoryMaintains records on underground storage tanks and fuel levelsMonitors Veeder Root systems and communicates any alarms that might occur for fuel leakageChanges light bulbs in facilities as neededTroubleshoots and repairs various plumbing issues including plunging toilets, unstopping sinks and drain linesAssists Public Works Operation Center (PWOC) staff with materials neededMaintains all mechanical and electrical rooms in a neat and orderly conditionMaintains inventory of PPE for PWOC staff and General Services staff to useResponds to after hour facility emergenciesPerforms related duties as assigned
