Building Inspector Lee County (2 openings) –
Building Inspection- For building inspections services, the client will assign a daily route of inspections consisting typically of 15 to 25 inspections per eight-hour shift. The employee is to design the optimal route the inspections and complete the inspections in a timely fashion by providing their professional opinion to the client as to whether the inspections conform, or do not conform, with the Florida building code. The employee will complete inspections with basis on the Florida building code, approved plans, and the approved permit. During the course of the eight-hour day, the employee will refer to these criteria when completing the inspection. The employee will provide results to the client in accordance with the client's requirements. All results for the day will be provided by eight hours after starting the assigned shift, but no later than allowed by the client. When assigned a tablet for result entry, the employee shall enter results in a timely fashion. An engineer's license, registered architect license, or building code adminstrators license is required.
