The Building Inspector, Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The City of Barberton is accepting resumes for an Inspector-Building position. This position conducts field inspections in order to ensure compliance with building and zoning codes. Starting salary: $24.90 per hour.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required, State of Ohio Non-Residential Building Inspection Certification (or Interim Certification), must possess and maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License and must be insurable under the City’s insurance policy.
