Building Inspector, Sr. inspects initial construction and additional repairs to ensure adherence to contract specifications, building ordinances, and zoning laws. May be assigned to residential or commercial structures. Being a Building Inspector, Sr. may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. The Building Inspector, Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • Job Summary:

    In this role, you have the opportunity to ensure the quality of our products meets the high demand requirements of the aerospace industry.

    Position supports incoming inspection, in-process, and final inspection

    Generating non-conforming material records in our Manufacturing Execution System.

    Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to ensure that company standards are met.

    Job Responsibility:

    • Perform inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection
    • Perform inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection.
    • Perform inspection of purged product as requested.
    • Enter inspection results into manufacturing execution system.
    • Generate non-conformance/defect reports as required
    • Perform first article inspections to support the component/part qualification
    • Be able to read and interpret specifications and part prints
    • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
    • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
    • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.
    • Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols.
    • Communicates and assists in the resolution of quality related problems.
    • Performing a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations

    Required Qualification:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Knowledge of PCBA inspection and IPC-A-610 certification or previous is required
    • Experience with Cable Inspection, certification or previous to IPC-A-620 a plus
    • 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment
    • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to work with little instruction on daily work
    • Experience working in aerospace/defense industry
    • Knowledge of powerpoint, excel, word, outlook
