Quality Control Inspector

Area:Enid, OK

Wage Range: $26 to $32 per hour

WW Clyde is seeking an experienced QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect plans, materials and finished work products

- Responsible for observing and making good business decisions

- Keep accurate notes and records

- Ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and used appropriately

- Perform process checks

- Ensure workplace is safe, organized and productive

- Have past heavy civil/horizontal construction experience (airfield experience is a plus)

- Be physically present at the jobsite when any work related to the area assigned is being performed

- Review the contract specifications, drawings and any referenced publications contained in contract documents so as to be fully knowledgeable of the scopes of responsibility

- Review any related submittals for conformance with the contract documents

- Observe the work daily for compliance with the contract documents and prepare the appropriate CQC Forms

- Supervise and coordinate all inspections and testing contained in the contract documents related to your areas of responsibility

- Assure that the reported tests are in compliance with the contract documents

- Verify daily the compliance of materials and equipment delivered to and/or incorporated into the work

Qualifications:

- ACI & CDOT certifications are preferred, not required.

- Must be detailed oriented, organized and self sufficient

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 40 pounds
