The Building Inspector, Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     • Prepara informes escritos y mantiene registros sobre las inspecciones.
    • Inspecciona edificios en proceso de construcción, alteración o reparación para verificar el cumplimiento de los requisitos del código y la aplicación de prácticas de construcción seguras; detiene la construcción hasta que se corrijan las deficiencias.
    • Interpreta los requisitos del código y responde preguntas de contratistas, constructores, arquitectos, ingenieros, propietarios y el público; asiste y asesora al público en general en asuntos relacionados con la construcción y los requisitos del código.
