Description:
As the School Building Receptionist the primary responsibility is to respond promptly to callers and visitors with a friendly and informed approach, offering courteous assistance. This role entails providing secretarial support to the Site Administrator and additional assistance to the Supervisor of Operations. The position involves maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere through effective communication, organizational skills, and a service-oriented mindset. The primary goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of information, contributing to a positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years secretarial experience in an preferably educational setting
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite, and comfort in learning new software.
- Must be highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as a supportive team member.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize workload
- Must be professional and responsive to any requests, questions, or assistance needed by the Site Administrator, staff members, and any customers
- Ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions in absence of supervisors or on their behalf.
Terms: Full-time, 260 days (12 months), 8 hours/day
Salary: Secretary C pay scale - Minimum $14.45/hr, plus excellent benefits.
